Who doesn’t love a two-for-one deal? And a two-for-one deal for plants? Sign me up! Costco recently rolled out a ficus-and-pothos planter that is both beautiful and affordable — aka the best of both worlds. You get both plants for under $70, and they’re already arranged in an attractive planter, so all you have to do is find the perfect spot to put it! The unique pairing looks so summery and would be a great addition to your greenery display

“How cool are these super tall ficus trees?” Shannon from the Costco So Obsessed wrote in a recent caption. “I would love four of them! How about you?” In the video, Shannon pans over rows of tall, gorgeous trees that seem ready to add instant greenery to their new homes.

Costco’s Ficus and Pothos Trees Are So Gorgeous

Costco’s new ficus tree planters come with what appears to be a Fiddle Leaf tree planted in a pot with vining pothos at the bottom. The ficus is supported with a bamboo stake to help it grow straight and strong. Meanwhile, the pothos plants look incredibly healthy and bushy, with some featuring gorgeous variegated leaves. And the entire plant display comes in a tall, creamy white decorative pot that is ready for its close-up.

This potted plant deal is an in-store Costco exclusive, but you can get a similar look with plants that might already be in your collection. You can plant pothos or other vining plants in the soil of any potted tree to make the planter look a lot more lush. Just make sure the pot is large enough to house the roots of both plants with some room to spare so they don’t get root-bound.

Also, ensure that you pair plants with similar watering and sunlight needs so that they both stay as happy and healthy as possible while sharing a pot.

However, if you don’t have a Costco nearby, you can still get a similar-looking tree for your home. Wayfair is offering a faux ficus tree that comes in a white planter for under $53. And because it’s fake, you won’t have to worry about overwatering it.

During your next Costco trip, check the plant section to see if your local Costco has these ficus trees and pothos planters in stock for just under $70. You may have to add a brand new member to your growing plant family. This two-for-one deal is just too good to pass up.
