Drew Barrymore’s Bedroom Is a Master Class in Effortless Chic Vibes (Steal This Look!)
If there’s one thing we know about Drew Barrymore, it’s her classic good taste — and that she’s truly down to earth. Despite her icon status, the television host still owns a simple white kitchen stove, uses thrift finds for kitchen storage, and lives in a modest space that’s full of personality and character. Her bedroom is (unsurprisingly!) also very real, but it has a chicer vibe than what her fans have seen in her kitchen and living room. That’s thanks to a few key details you can easily source for yourself.
Drew recently shared a video of her pup Douglas having bedtime zoomies, but her followers just so happened to see a good portion of Drew’s bedroom in the mix. Compared with her kitchen, which is filled with color (green walls, light pink cabinets, brass hardware, and warm wood tones), the bedroom is soothing with a palette of creams, light blues, and grays.
There are more than a fair share of details that’ll catch your eye — the sheer curtains behind Drew’s headboard, a seating area with matching wingback chairs — but one stands out. It’s the upholstered roll arm bench in front of her bed. Together, it makes the room feel super cozy, practically begging you to put your feet up and relax.
The Key to Drew’s Effortless Style
A roll arm bench is such a classy piece of furniture because it inherently comes across as regal. You can find them on Wayfair for under $200, including this gray option from the brand Monroe — or create your own with an existing upholstered bench you have and a couple of bolster pillows on either end. This would create a similar vibe to Drew’s bench, and if you want the bolsters to stay in place, you can use Velcro to keep them anchored.
Wayfair also has a set of wingback chairs that would instantly elevate your space when paired with a side table and decorative lamp. Or, if you don’t have the space for two, a single wingback works just as well (and also gives you a great spot to curl up and read a book before bed!).
Add a few panels of sheer curtains behind your headboard to get that dreamy, drapey look. Your space will feel just as cozy and upscale as Drew’s, who continues to be a wealth of attainable inspiration!
