Last year my husband and I bought our first home in Los Angeles, and as far as furnishings and home decor were concerned, we were starting from scratch. Even though it’s only 883 square feet, it took much longer to decorate it than I ever could have anticipated, from choosing the right couch to picking out rugs, lamps, accent pieces, and the like. But even with everything finally in place, I realized something that I’d overlooked: My walls looked naked.

Bare walls can be an aesthetic, minimalist choice, but I tend to prefer walls decorated with art, photography, posters, and prints to make my space feel grounded, cozy, and personal. Empty walls simply wouldn’t do! Unsure of exactly what I wanted, I turned to Fine Art America, which just so happens to be the world’s largest online marketplace. And holy moly, did I stumble upon a treasure trove!

With thousands upon thousands of pieces from which to choose, Fine Art America’s collection is vast, but the site just added a brand-new search feature that made perusing wall art so much easier. The new Artist View gave me an easy way to check out work by individual creators instead of sifting through a seemingly endless sea of search results.

Being able to see images grouped by artist is incredibly handy, considering I wasn’t sure exactly what style or format I wanted — and if I liked one piece, I could quickly view others by the same artist. It sounds so simple, but this one search feature is a serious game-changer.

If your walls are in need of a little love just like mine, you’re in luck. Through the end of October, everything is 20% off. Not sure where to start? I’ve rounded up some of my personal favorites below.
