HomeGoods’ Ralph Lauren-Inspired Gem Has Fans “Draining Their Bank Accounts”

HomeGoods is definitely taking cues from designer labels this season, as most of the latest finds have shoppers making brand-name comparisons (including Ralph Lauren, for example!). TikTok can’t get enough — and the latest designer-inspired decor staple to make waves on the platform is an accessory that feels like it could be found at an estate sale (held by a house of nobility, no less). “HomeGoods is going to drain my bank account with these finds,” writes Charles (@charles_e_binion) in a recent TikTok video. In the clip, Charles shows off the tapestry-style footstool with a pastoral, country-chic print featuring a hunting scene stitched onto its cushion. There’s also another footstool with an appliqued pheasant depicted in classic plaid upholstery.

Charles reported in the comment section that the stools were priced at around $200 each (which is a steal if you compare it to the nearly $800 original!) — but that’s definitely an investment for most HomeGoods shoppers. 

Most tapestry-style footstools are priced well over $100 online. If you’re crafty and are hoping to get the look for less, you could source a tapestry-style blanket and reupholster a footstool you may already own.
