My New Favorite Duvet Set Is from Quince, and It’s Only $100 (It’s a Summer Staple!)

When it comes to bedding, I’ve always preferred an all-white look. Not only is it timeless, but it also creates a clean and calm tone that I like to maintain in my bedroom. But something switched in me these last few months. I was starting to feel tired of staring at all white every night. I knew I wanted to add some color (which would also give some personality to the room) that would still match the soothing tone I desired, so I started to search online for something new.

Gingham has been having a major moment this summer, and while you may think of a sunny picnic day when it comes to this pattern, what I saw in this specific duvet cover was a subtle playfulness that could still deliver on the softness I wanted. My immediate reaction after opening the package was that the color does lean gray over blue, which wasn’t a total bummer, but definitely something I noticed. I immediately threw it in the washing machine using my regular laundry detergent (a mild one, as recommended by care instructions) and used the dryer on low (you can also hang dry). It was still so soft and ready to be used once it was clean and dry.

The blue fog color choice has really grown on me because it added just the right amount of color I needed in my bedroom.
