Looking into sunny kitchen from backyard garden.

When you have a green thumb but live in a small space, you have to get creative with the way you display, organize, and nurture your houseplants. If you’ve been searching for an innovative way to grow fresh herbs, berries, veggies, or flowers, you should check out this stackable planter from Amazon. It’s called the Mr. Stacky, and it allows you to grow vertically rather than spreading out your seedlings.

How Does the Mr. Stacky Planter Work?

The Mr. Stacky Stackable Planter comes with five tiers of food-safe plastic planting vessels, each divided into four cups that you can plant in. The cups aren’t totally separate from each other, so you can either plant one variety throughout the entire tier, or divide your seeds into individual cups to grow several varieties on a single level.

Once everything is planted, the tiers interlock to form a tower. Water the top tier, and the rest of the planters will receive water, which trickles down from the cups’ drainage holes. You can pick up the Mr. Stacky system in white or black, or a mix of both white and black.

“Great for small spaces/renting!” one Amazon reviewer wrote. “This stackable planter has worked out great. We are currently renting and only have a patio without any grass that belongs to the property so this was a great option for us to start growing! It was incredibly easy to assemble and we love that it stacks and saves space … We can’t wait to have fresh herbs available and are thinking of getting another for strawberries!”

“We really love this!” another reviewer added. “Nice for our lettuce and herbs so we can rotate it and move it as the lettuce gets too much sun.”

Walmart sells a similar planter, but this version is on wheels to make it even easier to move around and reposition based on where the sun is. You can grab this version in teal, red, green, and two shades of gray.

Don’t let your lack of space keep you from growing fresh herbs and flowers this season. Grab one of these stackable planters, and let your green thumb go wild!
