While many are still wading through heaps of snow and facing frigid temps, retailers are rolling out the red carpet for spring — ready to help usher in a new season ASAP. Porches and patios are begging to be spruced up in time for the great defrost in March, so it makes sense that Walmart is leaning into fresh finds now. The superstore chain just rolled out a new giant faux topiary ball that’ll look stellar in your oversized planters.

“These NEW jumbo topiary balls look incredibly real and stay beautiful year-round. Perfect for porches, patios, and entryways,” the creator behind the @walmartfavs Instagram account wrote in a recent caption, adding in their video, “It’s huge!”

These Faux Topiary Balls Can Be Displayed All Year Round

Walmart’s latest must-haves are made by the brand My Texas House and measure 21 inches wide. The faux greenery is modeled after fresh cyprus, a seasonless plant that looks just as great in spring and summer months as it would in the winter. The topiary balls come with rope loops so you can hang them from overhangs in a veranda or on a wall, but they look even better when simply placed on top of a decorative planter.

And verified reviewers share that these balls are worth the investment. “Such better quality than any other topiary ball I have ordered or seen,” one person wrote. Another added: “So thick and lush. This is fantastic!”

If you don’t need decor quite as large as the 21-inch topiary ball, check out this set of 17-inch boxwood balls (also from Walmart, and on sale for under $50!). They look super realistic and will make your entryway look so cohesive when styled into matching planters. You can also use them to decorate during the holidays as you would a standard wreath.

It may be hard to forget about the snow when it’s still right outside your front door, but once you bring one of these topiary balls home you might start to think more about spring.
