Anthropologie is one of my top five favorite spots to shop for gifts during the holidays. It doesn’t hurt that I’ll usually find a little gift or two for myself there, too. The best kind of presents, in my opinion, are the little luxuries — upgraded everyday essentials that you already know they’ll use, but would probably never buy for themselves — of which Anthropologie has plenty.

The second best kind of gift though? Definitely the sentimental ones. So as I perused the site the other day to kick off my holiday shopping, I was thrilled to discover a new product that felt like the perfect combination of the two: the Curio Blvd 2-in-1 Oak Jewelry Keepsake Case.

What Is the Curio Blvd 2-in-1 Oak Jewelry Keepsake Case?

As a would-be jewelry collector (one day, I’ll get there), I’ve seen a lot of jewelry boxes. Who wouldn’t love a velvet-lined veritable treasure chest on their dresser? But to me, so many of them are just too big, too bulky, and take up too much space — or they feel a bit old and stuffy. What I love about this piece from Curio Blvd is that it’s as much a design feature as it is useful.

The gorgeous light oak and scalloped edges make this piece feel distinctly modern yet timeless. The frame is made of solid oak with veneer panels, meaning it’s built to last. And the design is just as thoughtful as it is beautiful: The lid doubles as a tray to keep sentimental items and perhaps your everyday jewelry top of mind and easily accessible.

When opened, though, several removable compartments can also fit everything from legal-size paper, letters, journals, and just about any other trinket you can imagine. (An absolute dream for the sentimentally inclined, such as myself: I always say, if you’ve written me any kind of card or note in the last 20 years, it’s definitely still somewhere in my house!)

What Anthropologie Reviewers Are Saying

Average Rating: 5/5 Stars

“Such a beautiful gift — works beautifully as an elevated jewelry box or as a memory/treasure box for photographs, documents, etc. Love this so much!” — EAnthroInsider1

“I bought this as a gift for my sister, and she adores it! It’s well made and perfect to store any keepsakes you have.” —AnthroLovver

“The quality of the oak material and the design are both amazing. It fits so much jewelry and keeps everything organized. The only thing I wish were different is having to lift compartments to get a full view, but overall it’s a beautiful and super useful case.” —Maria Romero

This is definitely a bit of a splurge piece, but if you’re looking for a really nice gift for someone close to you, or an investment piece for yourself, you really can’t go wrong. And Anthropologie shoppers agree! If you’re thinking about picking up this piece, I’d snag one soon — I have a feeling these will sell out this holiday season.
